A good-looking site is where we start, not where we stop. We design WordPress sites for Nashville businesses that load fast, make sense to your customers and show up when people search for what you sell.
Every site we build has to pass four tests
A good-looking site that’s slow, confusing or invisible on Google still loses you customers. Here’s what we check before any site goes live.
It looks like your business, not a template
Your web site is a direct reflection of you & your business. Does it need to look professional, hip, technical or all of the above? Our initial interview process with our team will help us decide questions like that together. Either way, you can be sure that your web site will look great when you get 2theTop. Whether you’re a consultant or a beauty salon, your web design will make you look awesome!
It loads before your visitor gives up
Most visitors are impatient. They want to find what they’re looking for and they want to find it fast. A bloated web page with non-optimized graphics is a sure way to get results for the competition. 2theTop can give you just the right balance of pizzazz and speed to keep your visitors on your site. Oversized images and bloated pages are two of the web design mistakes that hurt SEO.
Visitors find what they came for in a click or two
When your customer hits your web site, they’re looking for something. That something might be a specific product or service, or they might just be looking for something to catch their eye. Either way, 2theTop will make sure they can quickly and easily navigate to find the info they need to take action. Clear navigation also helps Google work out which page answers which search, the same idea behind good on-page SEO.
It gets found on Google, or it doesn’t count
OK, your site looks great, loads fast, and it’s easy to navigate. Now what? Just wait, the world will beat a path to your web site, right? Yeah, right!
Most people find the goods & services they need by starting with a search engine. 2theTop specializes in search engine optimization and web site promotion. In fact, even the most inexpensive 2theTop web site design project will include our basic web site promotion package built in!
Want to know where your current site stands first? Start with an SEO audit. We build on WordPress, and if your team wants to keep the site optimized after launch, our WordPress SEO training shows them how.
Three sites we designed, and what each one had to do
Here are three client sites from our web design portfolio. Each one started with a different problem.
Jewell Mechanical, Nashville HVAC
A locally owned Nashville heating, cooling and plumbing company since 2005. We started with an audit and query research, rebuilt the site’s information architecture around what their customers search for, and styled the new design from their existing logo. We kept working with them after launch on their blog and new content.
Scott Oldham Insurance, Gallatin, TN
Scott has provided insurance in the Gallatin area since 2008, and his customers can call him directly. He wanted a stronger online presence, so we redesigned his site with an SEO-friendly architecture and a design built to engage his current and future clients.
Implant Evolution, dental education
A journal dedicated to dental implants, written by implant experts for general dentists who want to treat implant patients in their own offices. The site serves two audiences at once: dentists who want to learn, and patients looking for an implant dentist.
