After teaching SEO & Digital Marketing as an Adjunct Professor for several years, I’m ready to offer my college level class to you.
In 2016, I started offering my course in a private setting for people who wanted a strong foundation in Digital Marketing but didn’t want to enroll at a traditional university. It’s open to anyone who wants to get a solid foundation in digital marketing.
You’ll benefit from being a part of a small class – with the maximum enrollment being 15 total students. Classes will be held May through August. You will earn a Certificate of Achievement by the end of this course. Space is limited. This semester’s master class will dive in deep into the following digital marketing tactics that greatly increase visibility:
Search Engine Optimization
Understand how search engines work. Use this knowledge to make recommendations to a website on how it can improve its organic search rankings – in other words, perform search engine optimization on a website.
Search Engine Marketing
Understand the mechanics of paid search ranking. Create a search engine marketing campaign and evaluate its effectiveness. Recommend changes that will improve the campaign’s conversion rates.
Online Advertising
Understand the various methods of online display advertising. Create an online display ad campaign and measures its ROAS (return on ad spend).
Web Analytics
Determine the appropriate KPIs for any type of website. Make appropriate recommendations to an eCommerce website based on the conversion funnel.
Email Marketing
Understand and implement best practices in marketing to a database of current and potential customers via email.
Social Media
Utilize knowledge of social media tactics to design an effective social media campaign.
Reputation Management
Implement online reputation management tactics to improve the online reputation of a brand.

An early adopter of Internet Marketing in 1996, Ross Jones has a passion for sharing and teaching. Ross has been an Adjunct Professor of Marketing at two colleges and is the founder of the 1300+ member Nashville SEO Group which meets monthly to discuss all things related to online marketing.
Ross’s speaking resume includes sessions on Organic SEO, web strategy, analytics, WordPress, affiliate marketing, Google AdSense and social media.
