WordPress Training – 2 hours
The 1st half of our class is led by John Housholder of AhSo Designs, a leading expert on WordPress.
You’ll learn how to:
- Install WordPress on WPEngine
- Create and edit themes from the Genesis WordPress framework (will do a brief intro to a site without Genesis)
- Diagnose problems within a website using browser tools
- Popular Plugins
- Recognize the capabilities of WordPress and how to edit basic functions including widgets, plugins, and write panel.
WordPress SEO Training – 2 hours
The 2nd half of the WordPress class is led by Ross Jones, an expert in SEO for over 17 years.
You’ll learn how to:
- Identify the correct keywords to target
- Configure WordPress an the Genesis Framework settings for SEO
- Install and configure the best WordPress SEO Plugin
- Write and optimized web page and blog post
- Install and use Google Analytics and Google Webmaster Tools
